The 9" wagon wheel is a good size for handcrafted items. They can be used to make a small covered wagon, a decorative piece for a lamp base, or standing alone on your custom made craft. Remember, they are durable steel and will rust if not painted. Most will be somewhat rusty when they arrive. They can be cleaned with mineral spirits and a cloth, let dry, then paint. The diameter of the hub is about 7/8".
